Hello, I would like to know if anyone has information about Betty Adams, Francisco Blanco, and Faye Hardee or Hardy?  They taught History, Spanish, and Geography.  I feel they were very influential in my career and if it is not too late I would like to thank them.

Thank you

Jim LeBeau
Carbondale, Illinois

Update:  I found a phone number for Mr. Blanco and had a very nice and long chat with him.

Hi Jim:
Nice to see a post from you.  I see you live in Carbondale, Michelle lives in Marion next door to you. Try and come to the reunion in 5 years never know who you might remember.

Hi Nancy,

I found some out some years ago that Michelle lived in Marion.  During the first class day of a semester I give my students a little bit of my background.  After class one day your nephew, Chris Osman, approaches me and says “Dr. LeBeau you went to high school with my mother.” I asked “what was her name?” He said “Overlin.” I said “Nancy?” He said “Michelle.” I did not know your sister but I knew you and I had been in some classes together.

I will try to come to the next reunion but everyone so far has conflicted with my travel/work schedule.

Good to Hear From You

Jim

Thanks for the reply, Michelle’s husband is an attorney in Marion also her son, he goes by Blane.  I remember you and both of us had to leave sometime before graduation but in my case just to Jacksonville.  I live in Wilmington, N.C. now and love it.
