Born and early childhood in Huntington WV (grades 1-5) ... Lived in Arlington VA (grades 6-8), then to Camp Lejeune (Jacksonville, NC) and CLHS (grades 9-12)—graduating from CLHS in 1966 ... Lived on Main Base (MOQ-2913) summer before and all of my 9th grade, then moved to Air Station (MCAS) for remainder of HS ... Played CLHS baseball and remember so many good times and friends!

College at ECU, undergrad (’66-’70) and grad school (’72-’75)—taught the 2 years in between at Jacksonville Junior High School.

Went to work for a speciality chemical firm in Goldsboro, NC and have been in NC ever since—now residing in Raleigh—and still w/that firm till I retire ... Have attended most all of the Lejeune reunions, especially our class 20th (in 1986) and the (ALL CLASSES) reunions of 2000 and 2005.

Have 2 wonderful grown daughters (born 1968/1970) and 3 beautiful, fabulous grand kids (2 granddaughters born 1997/2003 and a grandson born 2005) ... Brothers Bobby Hawley (class’68) and Danny Pearson (class’69) are in Jacksonville and Wilmington (NC) respectively ... Parents retired in J’ville and now reside near Topsail Island (North Shores Country Club) and have a beach home on Topsail Island—come visit!
